"Pushing Daisies" will return to ABC this fall, with the second season premiere airing from 8-9pm on October 1, 2008 - be sure to tune in! Also, it's been announced this morning that Jim received his first Emmy award nomination, for "Outstanding Music Composition For A Series (original Dramatic Score)" for the episode "Pigeon"! The first season of Pushing Daisies will be released on DVD and Blu-ray Disc on September 16 - be sure to pre-order your copy today from Amazon.com! While you're there, be sure to order The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning, coming out on August 28th.
Jim is currently working with Hans Zimmer on the computer-animated sequel Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa.
June 6th, 2008:
Urmel voll in Fahrt (aka Impy's Island 2) is currently playing in theaters in Germany. A soundtrack release containing Jim's score has been released, and can be ordered through Amazon.de.
May 18th, 2008:
The Simpsons Ride, which Jim wrote the music for, has opened at Universal Studios Hollywood and Orlando. There are some pictures from the opening celebrations available from the Los Angeles Times.

Jim completes work on The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning! Vacation begins NOW!

Jim has finished recording his score to the DisneyToon Studios film The Little Mermaid: Ariel's Beginning which will be released later this year. Look for scoring session photos soon!
Also, according to Variety, "Pushing Daisies" has done gangbusters on ITV in the United Kingdom, and recently won Best Series at the Reims International TV Festival in France.

Jim will be appearing at the Miami International Film Festival with directors Cameron Hood and Kyle Jefferson to discuss what it took to make First Flight. The panel discussion, entitled "Art Meets Technology: A Look at Computer Animated Shorts" will take place on March 8, 2008 at 1:30pm.
